Trump may have flushed important documents related to January 6th down the toilet.

When you are the President of the United States, any documents you create, including hand-written notes are the property of the United States.  Deliberate destruction of documents to conceal official conversations and actions can be criminal. White House aides have said that Trump was known to flush documents down the toilet. Other documents were torn up and put in the trash.

Critical documents related to Trump’s behavior on January 6th appear to be missing. Mr. Kellogg (Mr. Pence’s top level aide) testified to the 1/6 Committee that Trump and Pence spoke on the day of the insurrection and the record of that conversation is missing.

Here’s the big problem. A federal judge ordered White House documents must be turned over to the Congressional Committee.

That would include the missing (or destroyed) ones. That puts Mr. Trump in violation of a judge’s order, a serious charge
